It is important to give voice and recognition to women working on a variety of genres in fiction, documentary, animation, experimental, etc. The latest edition of the seasonal Chicago Women Film Fest brings together female directors from all over the globe. Chicago Women Film Fest in association with Chicago Women Film Institute, is an organization dedicated to the promotion and screening of films produced and directed by women.
